How do I pronounce my name?
My name is pronounced "nah-ah-MAH ah-mee-EHL". Both my first and last name have three syllables, and the stressed syllable is the last one.
How I spend my time...
I've been a fan of everything computers for as long as I can remember. I completed my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Washington in June of 2025. During my undergrad, I found a passion for operating systems and computer architecture and an even deeper love for computer science education. I believe that anyone can learn CS--it's a matter of creating the right environment. I graduated with my Master's in Computer Science, also from the University of Washington, in June 2026. My thesis documents my process of developing a self-paced online course for learning the gem5 Simulator System.
When I'm not thinking about computers, I'm probably painting, playing video games with my friends, or trying to get a TTRPG group together. My last painting was a simplified CPU die shot done with acrylic paint on canvas. I absolutely loved playing Hades 2, though the first Hades game is still my favorite. I've had the most experience playing 5th edition D&D, but I love Lancer, too.
